Illusion that it is. I love Marin County. Yesterday began with hiking Muir Woods and Mt. Tam and ended with Litquake’s Dirty Words, readings by Kim Addonizio, Stephen Elliott, Daniel Handler.

Glad to hear you are happy, but is it good for your art? Seems you stopped writing after finding happiness. Maybe the tortured writer stereotype is true.
Great to hear from you.

Ken, hi! I guess you must mean I stopped writing here. Actually, there’s an almost inverse ratio between when I’m *really* writing and when I’m posting on the blog. So, in that way, it’s a good thing when the entries here are scarce. That said, I do know writers who have that relationship with their work, or maybe their muse?, that you’re talking about: their misery or torturedness drives them to write. However, I’m pretty much the opposite. Really hard-pressed to write a thing when I’m miserable. Now tell me what is it like for you?
