Over the past few days, the rest of me has begun to follow the foot I stepped quietly over the line into the new year. I’ve been frustrated by my favorite hat I brought back from Big Sur for the cold, for walking, having gone missing sometime in the past couple weeks. I remember clearly before the holidays wearing it on a very cold day in Columbus, and that’s the last of it. Who cares? My head, and I.
Are we a body, or do we have a body?
What I’ve most liked lately is learning to play my flute.
This blog is in the midst of transition — upgrading. It will likely be a long transition because I’m not much in the mood for fiddling around with the necessary pieces. I haven’t much been in the mood for the blog generally but some good emails have made me remember that others do like to hear from me and that we’re all in this together, sort of. Anyone want to take a shot at writing my “about page” — it’d be much appreciated.

You absolutely must continue to write in your blog. You might have started it for yourself but I am now involved and so are others. No pressures, just don’t stop. Take some time if that is what you need but don’t short circuit the enjoyment you give. The about page is great. Could be a little shorter but I personally like its length. What precisely were you wishing to change there?
Thank you for all your kind words of encouragement, Milena. Maybe I should think more about the about page.
