Forman Brown, once said: “It is in his disturbing likeness to human beings that the puppet is appealing, and it is in his unlikeness that he is comical.”

Which has a little to do with the individual and collective responses and reactions of our experience yesterday with the Tony Oursler installation, I Want to Be You, part of the Complicit! (Yahoo!?) Contemporary American Art & Mass Culture exhibit at the UVA Art Museum.
