We will be finishing Sam Harris’ The End of Faith driving north to PA today. Have been looking forward to reading the rest of this since the last roadtrip on whatever boring interstate that was, I forget now. The method is taking turns reading aloud while the other drives. From Charlottesville to PA as opposed to beginning from Charleston will be a considerably shorter trip. I’m looking forward to it. The last (suddenly a bounty of them, after years of none) trips have been by air. Some of the travel today will not be on interstate but on smaller roads through the mountains, beauty. But it is time to pack the car.

We miss you guys. I’d have loved to have been on that road trip with you. Maybe, instead of y’all visiting back here, we’ll visit y’all on a drive up to PA some time.
