The problem with uploading the image is probably something to do with my host, according to WordPress support. Well, so then this morning in my inbox:
Please read this important notification about your hosting account with DacsoftHosting.com.
Due to multiple reasons, I am unable to dedicate the amount of time needed to provide the best support to my customers. Because my customers have always been very important to me, I evaluated numerous hosting companies that were interested in taking over the management of Dacsoft Hosting. My main concern was how my customers would be treated by the new company. Ultimately, I decided to go with a company that has a demonstrated long standing reputation as a quality hosting provider.

Initially, accounts will remain on the existing servers, but eventually they will be moving your web sites to new faster servers. In most cases, the move will happen smoothly and without any problems. You may not even notice when it happens. They be contacting everybody before the transfer takes place. If you have a reseller account, they will be contacting you to provide new IPs for your name servers.
I want to thank everybody for understanding. Give the new management a trial - without a doubt you will be happy with the service.

I’m concerned because I am going away (up North!) in another day for 10 days or so. Probably someone will make a few posts while I’m gone — still have to see about that — so stay tuned. But this isn’t a good time for a malfunction. Like there is a good time.
Ever get the feeling that a trip was not meant to be? I’ve been promising to make this one since February! But besides what might happen with my website, data, et al, there’s the house and packing up and figuring out what’s next; there’s the fact that I’m missing Floyd Fest, which I’d intended to cover here on my blog this year (confirmation of press passes in my email inbox this morning a sore reminder); scrambling to tie up lose ends with a client on the West coast means a phone conf cutting into my evening tonight and causing me to have to cancel a fun meeting I’d been looking forward to. Fun. I’m ready for it; I need it.
Let me try showing the image mentioned yesterday via Flickr. As there’s a personal note from the person who saved the newspaper clipping and gave it to me, the left side’s clipped off. Also not showing is the year, 1992!
